Join three nonprofit leaders who’ll talk about how their organizations have introduced anti-racist policies, and provided anti-racism training to their staffs and boards. They’ll share what’s worked well and what’s been a challenge, plus how they’ve integrated these activities into other aspects of organizational life, such as their nonprofit’s work on recovery from the pandemic. They’ll be joined by an anti-racism expert who has consulted with all three organizations. And there will be an opportunity for participants both to ask questions in advance and to participate in a dialogue with all the speakers. The speakers will be Ketaki Deo, Ascencia; Tessa Graham, Child Development Institute; and Donna Wood-Babcock, Enrichment Works. Joining them for a discussion will be Professor Allen Lipscomb, PsyD, California State University Northridge, who also will overview his research on this subject. The free workshop will be held by Zoom on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 4–5:30 pm. For more information please contact VNR Program Administrator Brian Frankel at 818/677-2774 or email@example.com.
