Digital Storytelling

Recommended Attendees: Instructors who want to learn more about student creativity, infographics, and newsletter presentations

DATES: February 16, March 2, March 16, March 30

TIME: 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Stipend: $480 (for the series)

Limit: 50 participants

Description: Learn how to use applications that highlight student creativity using infographics and unique newsletter presentations. We will go over Microsoft Sway, which is available to all faculty, students, and staff, as well as Canva which has a rich and comprehensive free version available. Faculty will be expected to create their own short story map or infographic as the day’s participation.

Deliverable: Create graphic advertising your course as practice.

Stipends are available for first-time attendees for some FTC Spring 2022 programs. Faculty who previously attended and were paid a stipend for any of the programs, can attend again for their own enrichment, however, no stipends will be paid. Faculty must be an active employee at the time of completion for funding.
